HOW TO GUARD YOURSELF:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authoritites, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything , to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:10-17

Being the Ideal Image of a True Christian:

• maintaing the christian image is NOT easy!
• be the image of christ!
• guard yourself from the false imagery that the world shows us.

WE LOSE VALUE WHEN...

1. We Buy Into FALSE Imagery!
2. We OVER EXAGGERATE Our Flaws!
3. We Forget True BEAUTY!

RECLAIM YOURSELF BY...

1. Seeing INNER Beauty!

Do not let your adorning be external --- the braiding of hair and the putting on of  gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear --- but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. 1 Peter 3:3-4

    2. Realizing You are INTRICATE In Detail!

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. 1. Seeing the GREAT NEED!
2. Going INTO THE DANGER!

*** Go as SHEEP into the danger!
*** Sheep are defenseless cowards who run into the danger!

    3.   Being BETRAYED,HATED,PERSECUTED!

Living Radically Is The Greatest Reward!

1.  His Sovereignty = OUR SAFETY!
